MEET THE TEAM

Sarah is a pet industry professional with 21 years experience working for the UK’s leading ‘cash & carry’ and wholesale distribution companies prior to joining Fish4Pets in October 2017.

During her career, Sarah has been responsible for buying, purchasing, marketing and sales functions. She is a strategic thinker with extensive market knowledge and has significant experience in working with a wide range of clients, from major retail chains to distributor partners.

Simon has worked in the Pet Industry for 23 years with suppliers, retailers and pet related services, across all consumer channels; in numerous leadership roles.  He has joined Fish4Pets to further develop the exciting commercial agenda.

Matt joined the company in December 2012. He qualified as a Management Accountant at the age of 22. He joined Fish4Pets to progress his career and as one of only two in the finance department originally, has supported the rapid growth of the company.

With responsibility for the overseas branches Matt is now responsible for the production of monthly consolidated accounts, cashflows budgeting, and strategic planning.

Lian joined the company in July 2014. She spent most of her career with a food processing company where her various roles gave her experience across all aspects of operations including quality management and customer service.

Lian has been responsible for transforming the company’s levels of efficiency in both manpower and space, enabling the company to increase its turnover tenfold from the same premises.

Chris has over 25 years of experience in marketing, working within multi-million-pound B2B, B2C and FMCG organisations. As a highly skilled and disruptive marketer his strategic thinking and intuitive decision-making, combined with his entrepreneurial flair, have enabled him to develop a successful track record in the Pet Industry. Establishing a lasting presence in new and existing categories, uncovering growth opportunities, creating strategic roadmaps, and initiating dynamic marketing strategies. He has a passion for driving progress and inspiring others to achieve excellence.

Graham joined the company in August 2008. Prior to that, he spent most of his working life with Unilever where his career spanned Marketing Manager, Sales Manager before becoming VP of Global Sales and Marketing.

Since joining Fish4Pets the business has grown from £2m to £19m turnover.

Carol joined the company in February 2009.

Carol held the role of Customer Services Manager in various businesses from 1992 including global businesses such as Vodafone in the UK and Yale. Carol brought a wealth of experience to the company enabling Fish4Pets to offer an exceptionally high level of customer service to its clients.

Jason joined the company in January 2009. He was ICT business advisor in the government-backed Business Link organisation before moving to the charity Oxfam where he became Ecommerce Manager.

Jason has been responsible for the ecommerce success of Fish4Pets, as well as applying his knowledge to assist some of our distributors to build their own websites. Ecommerce is the principal route to market in the UK for Fish4Pets.

Melissa joined the company in November 2010 as a graduate trainee. She started her career in customer services before progressing to Planning Manager, then Head of Supply Chain to her current role of Head of Global Product and Supply.

Melissa is responsible for our extensive global NPD programme.

Janice is one of the original founders of the company and joined the Fish4Pets full time as Finance Director in November 2005.

Janice qualified as a Chartered Accountant in July 1978 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in July 1996. After qualifying in 1978 she joined the largest independent accountancy practice in Birmingham in 1979 where she worked her way up and eventually became an Equity Partner in 1988, and Managing Partner in 2001.
