MEET THE TEAM

Sarah is a pet industry professional with 21 years experience working for the UK’s leading ‘cash & carry’ and wholesale distribution companies prior to joining Fish4Pets in October 2017.

During her career, Sarah has been responsible for buying, purchasing, marketing and sales functions. She is a strategic thinker with extensive market knowledge and has significant experience in working with a wide range of clients, from major retail chains to distributor partners.

Matt joined the company in December 2012. He qualified as a Management Accountant at the age of 22. He joined Fish4Pets to progress his career and as one of only two in the finance department originally, has supported the rapid growth of the company.

With responsibility for the overseas branches Matt is now responsible for the production of monthly consolidated accounts, cashflows budgeting, and strategic planning.

Chris has over 25 years of experience in marketing, working within multi-million-pound B2B, B2C and FMCG organisations. As a highly skilled and disruptive marketer his strategic thinking and intuitive decision-making, combined with his entrepreneurial flair, have enabled him to develop a successful track record in the Pet Industry. Establishing a lasting presence in new and existing categories, uncovering growth opportunities, creating strategic roadmaps, and initiating dynamic marketing strategies. He has a passion for driving progress and inspiring others to achieve excellence.

Jason joined the company in January 2009. He was ICT business advisor in the government-backed Business Link organisation before moving to the charity Oxfam where he became Ecommerce Manager.

Jason has been responsible for the ecommerce success of Fish4Pets, as well as applying his knowledge to assist some of our distributors to build their own websites. Ecommerce is the principal route to market in the UK for Fish4Pets.

Samantha is a multilingual pet professional who joined the pet industry in 2010 and has worked for various brands specialising in super premium food and accessories in the specialist pet, veterinary, and grocery channels before joining Fish4Pets in 2018.

With more than 16 years of International Sales and New Business Development experience across global markets, Samantha is responsible for Fish4Pets’ Retail Channel. As Head of UK & International Retail Sales, Samantha leads and implements Fish4Pets’ retail sales strategy, identifies new business opportunities, as well as manages partnerships with major retail chains globally.

Ricardo is an experienced marketing and sales leader with a strong track record of working across diverse cultures, markets and organisations, from global blue-chip companies to ambitious mid-sized businesses.

He joined Fish4Pets in 2022 after spending more than 15 years in the Pet Nutrition and Animal Health industries, with experience spanning London, Prague and Barcelona.

As Head of International Distributors, Ricardo plays a key role in driving growth across Fish4Pets’ international markets, supporting existing partners while developing relationships with new distributors worldwide.
